Reproductions
Fidelity and innovation in creating replicas
We have over three decades of experience in creating facsimiles of manuscripts and documents. We use our proprietary techniques to create perfect reproductions of every type of cultural asset, from paintings to archaeological artefacts.
With ultra-high-resolution gigapixel digitization and 3D scanning, we produce faithful replicas that can be displayed in museums as substitutes during loans, or serve as backup copies and educational tools. We have perfected our own photographic and printing technologies and we use increasingly sophisticated digital tools to enhance the collections of libraries and museums, expanding access to an ever-broader public.
Replicas of Works of Art and Museum Pieces
By using our proprietary technology of ultra-high resolution gigapixel digital photography along with 3D scanning, we produce physical replicas of great works of art that are exact copies of the originals, faithfully reproducing their color, texture, and medium. These copies can be displayed in museums as substitutes for works that cannot be moved, or installed as replacements in their original locations. Replicas can also be brought into classrooms and beyond, for all kinds of educational settings.
Facsimiles of Manuscripts
Ever since our first facsimile edition of the Bible of Borso d’Este in 1995, we have continuously refined the techniques of digital capture and printing to get closer than ever to perfection. Our experience with constantly-advancing digital technology enables libraries to enhance the collections in their care, stimulate new research, and reach new users.
