At the end of 2023 and the beginning of 2024, Memooria began a new project with Haltadefinizione to digitize the numismatic collection of the Museum of Art and History (MAH) in Geneva, Switzerland. The collection contains more than 80,000 items of great historic value, including coins, medals, plaster casts, dies and punches.

Memooria developed dedicated hardware and workflows tailored to the specific requirements of this collection, ensuring maximum accuracy and safety through every phase of the project. This advanced technology not only enables ultra-high-resolution digitization, but also weighs each piece and records accurate information about every object in metadata tables, with rigorous quality control processes that guarantee impeccable results.

This careful approach minimizes the movement and handling of the items, ensuring maximum protection throughout the process of reordering and cataloguing of the collection.

Memooria has positioned itself as a key partner in major projects of Gruppo Panini Cultura, offering innovative technological solutions that are capable of meeting and exceeding the complex challenges of digital preservation in the field of cultural heritage.
